Instructions: Use INTENDED amount in one bath. (it is in layers so that you can get Epsom salt and milk in each bath for multiple uses) Pour under warm/hot water, lock the door and add candles for a relaxing vibe. Music is always a nice touch too. For best results soak in water at least 20 minutes.
Why this is good for you:
Epsom Salt: Is a naturally occurring mineral found in water when the water evaporates, crystals are left. When reintroduced to water it breaks back down into Magnesium sulfate which our body absorbs. This is good to treat minor, sore muscles and sprains. Epsom salt helps to relax the muscles, reduce swelling, stiffness and pain from arthritis, fibromyalgia, gout and various causes. It also helps promote over all relaxation and the release of toxins from our body.
Milk: Lactic acid is an exfoliating alpha-hydroxy acid that promotes the shedding of dead skin cells. By eliminating the buildup of dead cells, this ingredient helps soften and smooth your skin and improve its overall texture.
Vanilla is one of my favorite scents. The plant is native to Mexico, Central and South America. It’s first known use is by Mexican Indigenous peoples of the Totonacan empire which were eventually taken over by the Aztecs. The Aztecs are said to have added the vanilla bean to a cacao drink. As history would then have it, the Spanish conquered this area and took vanilla back to Europe and it has since spread around the globe because of it’s delicious aroma and taste. The scent is an aphrodisiac and boots your mood to help with anxiety or depression. Vanilla has some skin benefits too. It contains a compound called vanillin which is antibacterial, anti inflammatory, and rich in antioxidants. Vanilla is also full of B vitamins. Â
