Instructions: Wet face- Take a quarter sized amount in your palm or small bowl. Add tiny drops of water and mix around into a paste. Apply to your face, wash and rinse. To use as a mask, add honey, avocado, or oil to make a paste. Apply to face and leave on for 10 mins then rinse.

Cinnamon is good for your skin and is one of the oldest herbs/spices ever. Recorded use in China before 2000 bc, in Egypt in Pharaohs times and medieval Europe. It has been used as flavor, as medicine, as incense and even as perfume. Oats have long been known to soothe skin irritations. Oatmeal contains zinc, a nutrient that helps in detoxification and rejuvenates skin. Phenols, which are a type of antioxidant and saponins, which have soap-like properties to act as a cleanser with the natural oils are found in whole oats. Use dates back to Egyptian Pharaohs adding oat, lavender, and oils to their ritual baths. The same porridge eaten in Norse households could have been added to skin as a paste to help rashes and other irritations.
