I took some time off from writing.
I had to figure out if it was for me or not. In the past year, I started a quest to find out who I really am and what I want to do with my life exactly.
Talking to my group of friends I realized, that most of us (all in our 30s) are still figuring out who we are and what exactly we want. I’m not alone. It’s normal for us to change, we’re definitely not who we were 10 or even 5 years ago. Life is ever-changing.
So.. I want to capitalize on something I love and make myself a free schedule. But what exactly.. ? Still trying to figure that out, But FIRST I need to figure out things that I like or that I’m good at so I can one day capitalize on it.
I started a journal to write things down, I carry it everywhere and when I notice something I like I white that ish down. It may take a while but honestly, all our journeys are different and I’m not on a time table. I’m focusing on figuring out ME and hoping that will lead me to doing what I love for the rest of my life.
Here’s back to being me, which means I will un-apologetically be myself even when I am unsure or ridiculed. How do you figure out who you are, if you’re trying so hard to be someone else? Exactly, you cannot. So I’m taking steps to always be me and that feels great.
I hope you all and figure it out and capitalize on it.
Much Love.
